Herbert Fain

Herbert Fain is the Professor of Legal and Social Ethics at Houston Graduate School of Theology. He is a recipient of the Ford Foundation Fellowship. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, a Juris Doctor Degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, and both a Master’s of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry from the Houston Graduate School of Theology. Dr. Fain is an ordained Baptist minister. He has lectured in Canada and in the United States. He has served as Chaplain at the Heights Hospital, Park Plaza Hospital, and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

Dr. Fain is president of the Saint Nicholas Foundation. His affiliations are with the American Academy of Religion, the National Association of the Baptist Professors of Religion, the Society of Christian Ethics, and the Association of Theological Field Education.

Dr. Fain is a frequent speaker at churches, workshops, and annual conferences, and has received numerous awards and citations.Classes Taught
