Philippians 1:3-11 reminds us, “I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart and, whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God’s grace with me. God can testify how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus. And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.”
God is doing amazing things in and through Sioux Falls Seminary. The last five years have been nothing short of extraordinary. Enrollment has grown by 115%. Students are now located in 30 states, five Canadian provinces, and 18 countries. The amount of debt acquired by our students has dropped by 90%. Annual operations average a 10% surplus, and Sioux Falls Seminary is recognized as a leader in educational innovation.
God has made these developments, and many others, possible through many wonderful partnerships and through the generosity of individuals, churches, and organizations. We are thankful for God’s faithfulness as we follow him into mission. God has placed Sioux Falls Seminary on the hearts of many, and they have responded generously.
Your partnership is a gift, and we are grateful for your role in helping develop servants for their participation in the kingdom mission. With the start of a new academic year upon us and enrollment numbers that continue to rise, please join us in praying for the possibilities God will place before us this year as we walk alongside students and work to impact the future of theological education at home and around the world.
