Gatherings and case studies are a key part of the Kairos journey for students, and the highly-contextual model of learning in Kairos is intimately tied to them. They provide students and mentors with the opportunity to gather for an intensive time of learning, encouragement, and theological reflection. With segments of dynamic learning, instructor-to-student interaction, and peer-to-peer dialogue, gatherings are integral to building community and connections.
The upcoming October 17-20, 2022, gathering will offer even more options for students to connect with one another and learn together. That’s because, for the first time, it will be open for both in-person attendance in Sioux Falls, SD, and for joining sessions online.

It also created opportunities for more relevant workshop offerings and collaboration with partners.
The fall gathering brings the benefits of both formats together. Whether students and mentors travel to Sioux Falls or participate together in the sessions online, the Kairos community will come together for worship and to explore how to serve the individuals that God places in their care. The week will include:
We are excited about what God has in store for the first on-site and online gathering and are thankful for the opportunity to continue meeting, learning, and growing together!
