The Kairos community is beautifully diverse, encompassing students from 70 different denominations and various branches of the body of Christ. From Lutheran to Wesleyan, Reformed to Baptist, and Anabaptist to Anglican traditions, our community reflects the rich theological heritage of the Christian faith.
To support and walk alongside students in their unique traditions, Kairos offers specialized resources tailored to many traditions. These resources are designed to help you explore the history, theological distinctives, and practices of your tradition as you grow in your faith and education.
– Lutheran Tradition: If you identify with the Lutheran tradition, you can connect with the Luther House of Study, a partner organization that provides in-depth resources on the history and theological foundations of Lutheranism.
– Wesleyan Tradition: Students from Wesleyan denominations—such as the Wesleyan Church, Free Methodist Church, United Methodist Church, Global Methodist Church, or Evangelical Congregational Church—can benefit from resources offered by the Wesley House of Study.
– Baptist Tradition: For those in the Baptist tradition, we provide resources to help you dive into the rich history and theology of the Baptist movement.
– Anabaptist Tradition: If your roots are in the Anabaptist tradition, we can connect you with the Anabaptist House of Studies, which offers resources to explore this branch of the Christian faith.
– Reformed Traditions: Students from the Reformed traditions can access resources tailored to their theological perspectives through our partnerships with organizations serving these communities.
Understanding the roots of your faith tradition can provide a deeper sense of connection and insight into your beliefs and practices. Whether you’re looking to explore your denomination’s history, theology, or distinctive values, the Kairos community offers a plethora of resources to guide you.
If you’d like more information about how to connect with resources for your tradition, reach out to us by sending an email to your faculty mentor or to info@kairos.edu. We’re here to support you on this journey of exploration and growth.
