In Trust Series: Practicing Collaboration, Pt. 3 – The Importance of Internal Collaboration

July 27, 2026

The In Trust Center for Theological Schools recently released a ten-part recorded series that was facilitated by Kairos President Greg Henson.

Through this series, leaders from across theological education explore the topic of Practicing Collaboration, reflecting on their experiences and sharing insights gained through their work. Each interview explores a unique aspect of collaboration in practice, offering thoughtful reflections, practical insights, and ideas that encourage others to pursue meaningful collaboration in their own contexts.

The third recorded session featured Brent Sleasman, President of Winebrenner Theological Seminary.

As In Trust shared about this video in the series, “Dr. Brent Sleasman, president of Winebrenner Theological Seminary, reflects on leading the institution through a significant structural transition, including shifts in organizational language and reporting structures that ultimately created a foundation for deeper collaboration. The conversation also examines how information-sharing, authority, and organizational culture shape collaborative efforts and influence an institution’s capacity to build effective external partnerships.”
