The In Trust Center for Theological Schools recently released a ten-part recorded series that was facilitated by Kairos President Greg Henson.
Through this series, leaders from across theological education explore the topic of Practicing Collaboration, reflecting on their experiences and sharing insights gained through their work. Each interview explores a unique aspect of collaboration in practice, offering thoughtful reflections, practical insights, and ideas that encourage others to pursue meaningful collaboration in their own contexts.
The fifth recorded session featured Jeff Carter, president of Bethany Theological Seminary.
As In Trust shared about this video in the series, “Dr. Jeff Carter, president of Bethany Theological Seminary, discusses the Brethren Higher Education Consortium and explores how collaboration can serve as an alternative to competition among institutions. He shares how the consortium was formed, the challenges it seeks to address, and the opportunities it creates for participating schools. The conversation also highlights successes, ongoing challenges, and key lessons learned throughout the process.”
