Four Chaplains Institute is a contextualization partner of Kairos University serving military chaplains, chaplain candidates, veterans, and ministry leaders preparing for faithful service in military and Veterans Administration contexts. Through this partnership, Four Chaplains Institute provides chaplaincy-focused resources, support, and community engagement and vocational formation opportunities for Kairos University students.
About the Partnership
Rooted in the legacy of the Four Chaplains, the Institute is committed to forming leaders marked by courage, sacrifice, interfaith cooperation, and faithful presence in moments of crisis and need. Four Chaplains Institute resources and support focus on shaping individuals for the unique demands, opportunities, and spiritual responsibilities of military chaplaincy and on providing practical engagement in the military ministry context.
Kairos students engaging with resources and support from the Four Chaplains Institute remain rooted in their vocation as chaplains and spiritual care providers while pursuing affordable, accessible, relevant, and faithful theological education at Kairos University. The Four Chaplains contextualization partnership paired with Kairos’s outcome-based and contextually-integrated model of education, invites students to connect their academic work, spiritual formation, ministry practice, and chaplaincy calling.
