BA, Business Administration and Management Information Systems, Augustana College, 2002
MDiv, Sioux Falls Seminary, 2010
After graduating from Augustana College, I made my home Sioux Falls. Since 2004, I have been serving those being developed for ministry at Sioux Falls Seminary.
Currently, I serve as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations. This role fits perfectly with my passion for stewardship and generosity. In addition to walking alongside people God is calling to engage in kingdom work, my time is spent strategically thinking about how we can steward organizational resources for maximum kingdom effectiveness. This includes managing budgets, creating operational efficiencies, maximizing assets, exploring partnerships, and developing people.
God has developed me for this role by placing me in leadership roles before I felt ready and introducing me to many mentors. That long list of mentors includes friends, colleagues, professors, pastors, and family. The most important of that group are my wife Lisa and son Caleb.
