Dr. Roger Helland teaches in the areas of pastoral care, spiritual formation and discipleship, spiritual leadership, and spiritual and missional renewal within the context of pursuing God’s presence, devotion to prayer and the ministry of the Word, and holiness. He serves as the prayer ambassador for The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada, previously served as the district minister of the Baptist General Conference in Alberta, and is the author of seven books including Pursuing God’s Presence, The Devout Life, Missional Spirituality, and Magnificent Surrender. Roger and his wife Gail live near Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
