Stewardship Report Relaunch: Giving Thanks to God

January 8, 2018

“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him” (Colossians 3:17).

Stewardship is an important part of organizational leadership at Sioux Falls Seminary.  Financial, human, and physical resources are stewarded as we pursue the mission to which God has called us.  A few months ago, we began our annual “stewardship report,” a series of blog posts that shares what God is doing with the resources he provides through our givers, students, faculty and administration, board members, and partners.

During Advent and over the Christmas break, we paused the series in order to publish our annual Advent devotional series.  Last week, we relaunched our stewardship report and gave thanks to the Lord for the life-changing impact of the Kairos Project.  Stay turned over the next several weeks as we embody Colossians 3:17 by sharing a few additional stories to help provide a glimpse of God’s handiwork.

Thank you for your partnership in the Gospel and for your participation in the work God is doing in and through this seminary.  As we close out this series of reports, we invite you to consider what God might be asking you to do with the resources he has provided you.  How might your act of stewardship reflect the mission of God and the role that you have been invited to play within that mission?
