Last week, we introduced this new blog series. It’s focused on helping Kairos students navigate their educational journey. It’s also helpful for anyone interested in learning more about the opportunities available to learners within our community. We are excited to spend the next several weeks unpacking the various offerings in Kairos!
The Kairos community is truly global, spanning six continents and over 60 countries. With students, mentors, and faculty working in several languages, our community’s diversity is one of its greatest strengths. Such a wide-reaching network, however, can sometimes make it challenging to know how to engage with the various resources and learning opportunities available.
One of the most exciting ways to connect with peers and faculty in Kairos is by participating in Scheduled Learning Experiences. These guided learning opportunities are offered and facilitated by the core faculty within the Kairos community, as well as by partner organizations worldwide.
Through these live and scheduled experiences, you’ll engage with peers in a dynamic learning environment led by our expert faculty. Imagine delving into archaeology and biblical studies or studying historical theology and Christian ethics. Perhaps you’d like to dive into leadership and innovation or explore ethnohermeneutics and intercultural studies. Maybe your areas of interest are related to pastoral care, mental health, or the Reformation. There are opportunities to walk through all of these, and more, alongside fellow students in the context of a live classroom.
These learning experiences, conducted via Zoom, offer rich academic engagement as well as the chance to build meaningful relationships with fellow students across the Kairos community. Together, you’ll explore subjects of interest, share diverse perspectives, and grow as a learning cohort, all under the guidance of our world-class faculty.
Scheduled Learning Experiences are an incredible way to connect, grow, and immerse yourself in the unique and vibrant Kairos community. Wherever you are in the world, these opportunities allow you to walk alongside peers and faculty as you pursue your educational and vocational goals.
