The Kairos University community welcomes the Soul Science Institute as one of its newest contextualization partners. This partnership, like other contextualization partnerships, creates a unique opportunity for followers of Jesus to flourish in their vocations for the life of the world.
About the Partnership
As a contextualization partner of Kairos University, Soul Science provides learning resources, local mentors, and student engagement support for students enrolled in programs at Kairos University.
Soul Science learning resources can support and enhance learning in Kairos’s Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy programs, especially for Kairos students who are seeking to engage theology and philosophy or are interested in areas of focus including metaphysical theology, scientific theology, theology and technology, philosophy of religion and theological ethics, or theology and consciousness.
The partnership provides Kairos students with the opportunity to explore questions like what does it mean to be human in an era of artificial intelligence, how do neuroscience and consciousness studies intersect with the Christian understanding of the soul, and how should we speak about ethics, aesthetics, and even beauty when our world is reshaping the very notion of personhood.
