In Trust Series: Practicing Innovation, Pt. 1 – Practicing Innovation in Community

January 5, 2026

In Trust Center for Theological Schools recently released a six-part recorded series that was facilitated by President Greg Henson.

Through the series, leaders from across theological education shared real stories and practical insights from their own journeys of innovation. While each session in the series is unique, the topic of “practicing innovation” is weaved through each of the conversations. Participating leaders offered perspectives and ideas for others to consider in their own work and journeys.

The first recorded session featured Kairos’ David Williams.

As In Trust shared about the first video in the series, “Dr. David Williams, [legacy] president of Taylor College and Seminary, joins facilitator Greg Henson (president, Kairos University) to reflect on a six-year institutional journey of practicing innovation as communal formation. He discusses breaking down silos, power dynamics, and the importance of cultivating a shared understanding of reality among faculty, staff, board, and denominational partners.”
