In Trust Center for Theological Schools recently released a six-part recorded series that was facilitated by President Greg Henson.
Through the series, leaders from across theological education shared real stories and practical insights from their own journeys of innovation. While each session in the series is unique, the topic of “practicing innovation” is weaved through each of the conversations. Participating leaders offered perspectives and ideas for others to consider in their own work and journeys.
The second recorded session featured Angela Sims, president of Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School.
As In Trust shared about this video in the series, “Dr. Angela D. Sims, president of Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School, explores how institutional structures and assumptions about “place” shape or stifle innovation. This conversation challenges approaches to innovation that simply add new “content” to the same containers and emphasizes the role of structures and transparency in reimagining theological education from the ground up.”
