We are excited to share that Missio Seminary became the newest legacy partner of Kairos University on January 1, 2026. With this development, Kairos’ global network now includes six schools and over one hundred partner organizations around the world.
Our journey with Missio began in February 2023 when their board of trustees voted unanimously to begin a process of deeper collaboration with Kairos. Since that time, we have been committed to moving forward together. Missio Seminary brings to the Kairos community a rich history of academic excellence, missional theology, spiritual formation, and community engagement as well as a shared passion for following Jesus into the world.
Through the partnership, new ways to serve the Missio community and individuals in the greater Philadelphia area have already emerged. We look forward to seeing the doors that God will continue to open both in Philadelphia and globally through this partnership.

It has been a long road, but we stand now embracing this moment, and our God stands with us as we continue to follow Jesus into the world.”
In addition to Missio Seminary, Kairos University’s other legacy partners include Sioux Falls Seminary, Taylor Seminary, Evangelical Seminary, BLI School of Ministry, and Houston Graduate School of Theology. Students participate in Kairos from seven continents and 63 countries. Programs offered range from the undergraduate level to research-level doctoral degrees.
