At Sioux Falls Seminary, we have the privilege of walking alongside the individuals God calls to participate in his kingdom mission.
With the end of yet another wonderful academic year, we will celebrate our 160th graduating class this Saturday, May 19, 2018, at First Baptist Church in Sioux Falls at 2:30 p.m. (1401 S. Covell Avenue).
The thirty-eight members of the graduating class of 2018 serve in a variety of contexts and minister in many different ways. Each has been uniquely equipped to participate in God’s ongoing work. Whether pastors, counselors, spiritual directors, business and community leaders, or something else, our 2018 graduates are using their gifts to serve others.
This year’s service will include a full academic procession by the seminary’s faculty and an address from Dr. Vic Gordon, who is the founder, president, and lead theologian of Gospel Depth in Wichita, KS, and a Kairos Affiliate Professor at the seminary. Degrees to be conferred include the Doctor of Ministry, Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Christian Leadership, Master of Arts in Counseling, and Master of Arts (Bible and Theology).
We look forward to celebrating what God has done through the class of 2018 and commissioning them for work yet to come!
